When Jesus fed the 5,000 thousand he asked the disciples; what do you have?
We focus on what we do not have but Jesus asks; what do you have?
I may say I can’t do that because I don’t have….and then I begin to list what I am lacking. But Jesus wants to know what you do have.
Bring what you have to Jesus and He will bless it, use it and multiply it.
If you’re in the middle of a storm you could be right in the middle of God’s will. Jesus sent his disciples out on the lake and into the middle of a severe storm. Notice though that Jesus came to them walking on top of what they were afraid of.
Don’t be focused on the storm or on the circumstances lift up your eyes and see Jesus walking on your trouble.
Abraham the great man of faith did not look at his circumstance but he considered God’s word, he looked to the promise. What are you looking at? What are your eyes set on? The storm, the circumstances or on Jesus?
